Nuclear train poster During 1983, at the time of the Sizewell B public inquiry, the Greater London Council produced a series of posters for billboards displayed across the capital, including four photographs of mine used to highlight concern about the dangers of transporting radioactive material through London. Such hazardous movements would be increased by the approval of Sizewell B. The photo on this poster showed an irradiated nuclear fuel (“nuclear waste”) flask crossing Mare Street in the centre of Hackney. And they still do...
